I left all my bob hund albums in California and I’ve been going through some serious withdrawals lately. I turned to youtube for relief and found an embarrassment of live performances there, mostly thanks to a mysterious figure who goes by the handle ‘Rosa Mannen (the Pink Man [dig his crazy intro grafix]).’ Here are a couple favorites for you to enjoy.
The first video shows them playing ‘Istället för musik: forvirring (Instead of music: confusion)’ live in Lund, five years into their career. The second shows them performing ‘Tralala lille molntuss (Tralala litle cloudpuff)’ on a Swedish television program, ca. 1998. Highlights = the round stage, and the close-up of the guitar amp at 1:22 with the song lyrics stenciled onto a wood façade.
